Wescom Welcomes Three Social Media Brand Ambassadors | Wescom Credit Union

For the first time ever, Wescom welcomes three members to serve as brand ambassadors and represent Wescom on social media through September 30, 2021. As Ambassadors, they will post about their Wescom experiences on their Instagram or Facebook profile pages, as well as share Wescom content with their followers to create brand awareness.

Here’s what our member and new Social Media Brand Ambassador, Marissa Bowman, has to say:

Q: Why did you want to become a Wescom Social Media Brand Ambassador?

A: I wanted to become a Wescom Social Media Brand Ambassador, because I have learned that a part of being financially literate is utilizing good financial products. Wescom has provided me with some great financial services, and I want to encourage more people to join credit unions, specifically Wescom.

Q: Why do you think it’s important to share Wescom banking with your followers?

A: I think it is important to share Wescom banking with my followers, because African Americans have historically been disadvantaged when it comes to attaining wealth in this country. I want to share and educate them about the benefits I have experienced as a Wescom member. I want my followers to have access to lower loan rates, higher savings yields, reduced fees, and a robust network of branches and ATMs.

Q: As a Wescom Social Media Brand Ambassador, what are you most looking forward to?

A: I am most looking forward to joining an awesome network, and educating the masses about Wescom.
