Wescom Supports the LGBTQIA+ Community by Celebrating Pride Month
Spreading #WescomKindness During Pride Month
At Wescom, our purpose is to build better lives for all. That means offering valuable products and services to our members as well as building better lives in our diverse communities because we believe that diversity makes us stronger. Continuing our efforts to recognize the diversity of our team, members, and communities, here is how we supported the LBGTQIA+ community by celebrating Pride Month this June.
- On Sunday, June 24, 2023 Wescom sponsored this year’s 2023 OC Pride Festival in Santa Ana.
- As the Official Banking Partner of the UCLA Alumni Association, Wescom continues to support the UCLA Lambda (LGBTQ) Alumni Association through the Wescom Foundation UCLA Alumni Diversity Network Scholarship Program.
- Through our #WescomKindness initiative, Wescom matched up to $1,000 in store sales at LBGTQIA+ friendly businesses in proximity to Wescom branches:
- Pippi + Lola, a plant shop located at 2630 E 4th St, Long Beach, CA 90814
- Wood Coffee Co., a coffee shop located at 2728 E. 10th Street, Long Beach, CA 90804
- Healthy Protein Spot, a smoothie and juice bar located at 9856 Katella Ave, Anaheim, CA 92804
Supporting our communities and helping people experience #WescomKindness this Pride Month is how we continue to work towards our goal of building better lives for all.
