The Wescom Foundation Continues to Support Our Communities

Wescom Foundation's recent virtual employee volunteer walks raise $8,500 for local nonprofit organizations. Even while social distancing, Wescom employees continue their commitment to helping those in need through philanthropic grantmaking and volunteerism. Recently, the Wescom Foundation partnered with local organizations to coordinate and ultimately provide $8,500 through virtual walks. Teams encouraged others to donate based on their steps logged and asked for financial donations to help individual participants reach their fundraising goals.

• Wescom Foundation partnered with OneLegacy, whose mission is to save lives through organ, eye & tissue donation, for the Donate Life Event with a donation of $7,000.
• Children's Hospital of Los Angeles, which is the only hospital in the region dedicated to the health of children, led the Walk & Play L.A. event. Wescom provided a grant of $1,500 to help make a difference in the lives of young patients and their families.
