Wescom Foundation Designates Two Additional Non-Profits to Support in 2022 | Wescom Credit Union

As part of our commitment to building better communities in Southern California, the Wescom Foundation is proud to announce our final 2022 Signature Grantees: Union Station Homeless Services and Meet Each Need with Dignity (MEND). These outstanding organizations are providing our fellow community members with food and shelter, as well as supplying them with the tools needed to achieve economic resilience.

Union Station Homeless Services provides comprehensive outreach, shelter, housing, and employment services to help adults and families find housing and stay housed for good. Wescom Foundation funding will support programs that combat homelessness in the San Gabriel Valley, providing nutritious meals and housing to individuals and families in need.

MEND (Meet Each Need with Dignity) serves the poorest families and individuals in the San Fernando Valley, meeting their most immediate basic needs and helping them build resources and skills to address and overcome long-term poverty. Funding from the Wescom Foundation will help support programming for low-income individuals and families, vulnerable seniors, and those who are homeless.

The Wescom Foundation's Signature Grants program provides grants to community-based organizations making a huge impact in the Foundation's focus areas: Critical Human Needs and Financial Wellness. We are proud to support a total of five amazing nonprofit organizations as 2022 Signature Grantees and we encourage our community members to learn more about the important work they are doing in Southern California.
