The Wescom Foundation has raised more than $214,000 in member, community, and Credit Union donations to help support those impacted by the Southern California wildfires. The funds raised will directly support the American Red Cross and Direct Relief.*
Additionally, the Wescom Foundation provided a $5,000 grant to the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation. This is not the first instance in which Wescom has encouraged members and community members at-large to support natural disaster relief efforts. In 2023, the Credit Union and its members supported those impacted by the Maui wildfires, donating more than $230,000. Last year, the Foundation raised $66,000 in member and Credit Union donations to help multiple communities in Southern California impacted by wildfires.
