Wescom Foundation is honored to celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr. Day by taking part in the MLK Volunteer Festival 2024 as a Copper Sponsor. In the spirit of Dr. King's enduring legacy, our dedicated team of credit union employees will join hands with local nonprofits, offering their time and skills to make a meaningful impact in our community.
Wescom is proud to share that it will again provide resources to help improve the lives of individuals and families in our community. In partnership with L.A. Works, Los Angeles’ largest and longest-running volunteer action center, 35 credit union employees, family, and friends will devote the afternoon of January 15, 2024, to nonprofit organizations in the areas of:
We look forward to joining other volunteers at the L.A. Memorial Coliseum, where in 1964, Dr. King gave a powerful message to 15,000 Angelenos on the topics of race relations and human dignity.
This family-friendly volunteer festival also includes educational presentations, opportunities to support minority-owned food vendors, and a Minecraft video game truck to explore the recreation of the historic 1963 March on Washington.

One day of service can change lives. Members are welcome to join us as we spend the afternoon (12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.) at what is expected to be the most well-attended volunteer event in Los Angeles.
