These fires hit close to home. Many of our team members’, members’, and community members’ lives have been, and will continue to be, disrupted, with many facing evacuations and the complete loss of their homes. We hope that all of us make it through without any more devastation.
Of course, your health and safety, and that of your family and loved ones, is our paramount concern. We also know that many may be negatively impacted financially, whether it be due to evacuations or other extraordinary events. To support our impacted members, we are offering emergency loans and payment deferral options for members who have had a direct financial impact as a result of the wildfires. Our Wescom Foundation has raised more than $105,000 through a giving campaign to support disaster relief efforts and the provision of basic needs to those impacted. Additionally, the Credit Union is matching total donations up to $50,000 – for a combined total of more than $155,000 in donations.
