Halloween may be over, but fraudsters are still trying to use tricks to steal your information. Fraudsters are using advanced technology to misrepresent their true identities and deceive unsuspecting victims. Let’s make sure we’re all vigilant against these modern-day goblins.

3 Things You Can Do

  1. Stop and think before sending money or sharing personal information.
  2. Call the agency or loved one directly using a trusted number to confirm the legitimacy of the request. Do not rely on contact information provided in the suspicious communication.
  3. Report fraudulent activity by visiting wescom.org/security-center or calling 1-888-4WESCOM (1-888-493-7266). Know that Wescom will never call you to ask for your information, a security code you may have received via text or email, passwords, your account number, debit card number, credit card number, or online banking credentials.
