Consistent with Wescom's commitment to the diverse Bruin community, we are thrilled to announce the Wescom Foundation UCLA Alumni Diversity Network Scholarship program. This year, the program will provide $50,000 in scholarships to students selected by the following groups: UCLA American Indian Alumni Association; UCLA Asian Pacific Alumni Scholarship Fund; UCLA Black Alumni Association Scholarship Fund; Pilipino Alumni Association Scholarship Endowment; Lambda Alumni Association Scholarship Fund; UCLA Latino Alumni Association Endowed Scholarship Fund; UCLA Mixed Alumni Association Scholarship; UCLA Undocumented Alumni Association Scholarship Fund; UCLA First Gen Alumni Network Scholarship Fund; UCLA Campus Life Administration Steinmetz Veteran Scholarship; and, UCLA Muslim Alumni Association Scholarship.
Wescom recognizes that discrimination and systemic inequality can hinder successful outcomes for BIPOC (Black, indigenous, and people of color), underrepresented, and disadvantaged students, and that a college education is often a pathway to greater economic opportunities.
