5 Tips for a Successful Video Appointment
Connect with Wescom from Your Home, Office, or Anywhere
Whether your Wescom branch is across town or across the country, you can connect with Wescom for all of your banking needs by scheduling a video appointment. Even though we make it easy to schedule and connect, here are five pro tips for a successful video appointment with a Wescom Member Service Representative.
- Schedule your video appointment. Log in to Online Banking and select Schedule an Appointment at the top right. Here you can choose the location, appointment type, date, and time that works best for you.
- Make a list of questions. Depending on what product or service you'd like to discuss with a Wescom Member Service Representative, jot down some questions you may have or topics you'd like to cover. This way you'll make sure you get all of your banking needs met.
- Use a filter to help with low lighting. Go to the Zoom application Settings, click on Video, and check the Touch up my appearance option under My Video. Under the Touch up my appearance option you'll find an adjustment for low light which helps on a cloudy day or if you're in a darker room.
- Your appointment is recorded. With your consent, the appointment will be recorded to make sure we continue to deliver quality member service and so you can reference the information later.
- Mute your microphone when you're not talking. Just click the microphone button on the left-hand side of the screen so that any background noises like dogs barking, the television, or outside traffic don't transmit over video appointment.
